Meade District Hospital Receives
Grant from The Community
Foundation of Southwest Kansas
11/13/2025 - Meade, Kansas - Meade District Hospital is pleased to announce that it
has been awarded a $3,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas. This funding will support Project Mobilizing Care: Enhancing Clinical Access
at the Point of Care.

The initiative aims to improve clinical efficiency and overall quality of care by
equipping the hospital's nursing and surgical departments with Workstations on Wheels. By bringing technology directly to the point of care, this project will not only enhance clinical operations but also enable nursing and clinical staff to spend more meaningful time with patients, focusing on compassionate care. This improvement aligns with Meade District Hospital's commitment to providing an exceptional healthcare experience with compassion and quality. ​
