Meade District Hospital Receives Grant
from Meade County Community Foundation

Meade, Kansas — August 27, 2026 — ​Meade District Hospital is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Meade County Community Foundation to support Artesian Valley Health System (AVHS) community events.

AVHS hosts and participates in a variety of community events each year designed to promote health, education, family engagement, and stronger connections throughout the communities we serve. These events are offered at no cost to participants. They are made possible by a grant from the Meade County Community Foundation and through partnerships with local schools, businesses, organizations, churches, volunteers, and community supporters.

AVHS plans to continue its community outreach and partnerships while offering more local events for residents of all ages.
